Our Story
Before opening Brick’s Pizza Delivery in Centreville in April 2009, Matt Brick worked for one of the “Big Three” pizza chains, Domino’s, for 15 years, including 12 years as a manager. He was considering opening a franchise, but his younger brother, Jeff, who founded Brick’s Pizza Delivery in Arlington in 2002, suggested that Matt open his own pizza shop in Centreville. Matt simply thought, “Why not?” and turned his brother’s suggestion into reality.
Despite customer service standards declining over the years, Matt held firm to his belief that his shop would thrive on a foundation of quality customer service. As he puts it, “Service is everything. This is funny [to say] in today’s day and age, but we at Brick’s try to thrive on customer service.”
He would go out of his way to brighten a customer’s day with his outgoing personality and ensure that every pie leaving the shop was made with love and care.
Now, after 17 years, Matt is passing the torch to his niece, Emma Reiss, whose dream has been to follow in his footsteps since high school. Emma’s goal is to carry on his values and continue serving the Centreville community by bringing delicious, well-made pizza right to customers’ doors.
